Compared with the practice match against SC Paderborn (2-5 loss), coach Alfred Schreuder made four changes to the starting line-up. Returning internationals Daley Blind, Taylor and Davy Klaassen started the game at the expense of Kik Pierie, Kian Fitz-Jim and Mohamed Ihattaren.
