Ajax and Excelsior reach agreement on Kik Pierie

Ajax have reached an agreement with Kik Pierie and Excelsior on the immediate transfer of the defender to the Eredivisie club. Pierie's contract at Ajax ran until June 30, 2024.

Pierie was born on July 20, 2000 in Boston, USA and transferred from sc Heerenveen in the summer of 2019. In Amsterdam, Pierie played 37 matches for Ajax U23 in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. In the winter of 2020, he left to FC Twente on a two season loan. Last half season, Pierie was on loan at Excelsior Rotterdam, the club that will now definitively sign him.

Kik Pierie  on loan to Excelsior Rotterdam

Ajax, Kik Pierie and Excelsior Rotterdam have reached an agreement on the loan of this player to the Rotterdam club. The loan starts with immediate effect and will run for half a season, until 30 June, 2023. The 22-year-old player's contract with Ajax is due to run until 30 June, 2024.

Highlights Ajax - FC Den Bosch

The preseason campaign has kicked off. Ajax opened their preparations for the new season on Saturday with a match against FC Den Bosch. There was a completely different Ajax team on the field in each half. After trailing 0-2, the Ajax players managed to equalize through Gabriel Misehouy and David Kalokoh, bringing the score level.
