Ajax maintained our 100% start to the new Eredivisie season with a one-sided victory over sc Heerenveen. Mohammed Kudus claimed a brace of goals with Davy Klaassen, Kenneth Taylor and Brian Brobbey also on target as the defending champions ran out 5-0 winners in our third home game of the 2022/23 campaign.

Ajax completed their final training session Friday afternoon, in readiness for the home match against sc Heerenveen. The Ajax team will play the current number six in the Eredivisie this Saturday evening, kick-off at 6.45 pm.
The Supervisory Board of AFC Ajax NV intend to extend the contract of Edwin van der Sar to 30 June 2025. The intention to extend is in abidance with the applied procedure, because of which the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) can only be renamed for a new term after the General Meeting of Stakeholders (GMS). The GMS will take place November 11th, 2022. Van der Sar’s current term ends November 2023.
