Ajax had a convincing win Tuesday evening, in their fifth match in the run of 2022/2023 pre-season friendlies. While training in Austria, the Ajax team won 3-2 against the Alpine land's national champions: Red Bull Salzburg.
After a delayed arrival on Sunday, the first training session was scheduled for Monday morning. In perfect conditions, the first practice was completed by the Ajax players. In the afternoon, Alfred Schreuder's squad completed their second round of training.
Head coach Alfred Schreuder has revealed the list of players who will attend the training camp in Austria. Ajax is taking 29 players to the Alpine state. The club has agreed to let Lisandro Martínez miss out on the trip to Bramberg am Wildkogel.
Ajax played KAS Eupen on Friday. The match at De Toekomst sports complex resulted in a 1-1 draw. Mohammed Kudus scored the goal for the Amsterdam team. Steven Bergwijn and Owen Wijndal also made their unofficial debuts.
