Ajax have reached an agreement with Mika Godts and KRC Genk about the transfer of the 17-year-old utility player to Amsterdam. He signed a contract that will run until June 30, 2025, effective immediately. The transfer of Godts is subject to a number of formalities.

Godts (Leuven, June 7, 2005) played for the youth team of Anderlecht and then joined KRC Genk, where he played for Genk U21 until the winter break. The Belgian youth international will be added to Ajax U23.

Contract extension and loan Jay Gorter

Ajax and Jay Gorter have agreed on a new contract. The previous agreement ran until 30 June 2025. The renewed commitment of the 22-year-old goalkeeper runs until 30 June 2026. In addition, Ajax has agreed with Gorter and Aberdeen FC that he will join the Scottish club on a loan basis, effective immediately, for the rest of this season.
