Bergwijn: 'I can enjoy that kind of goal'

Steven Bergwijn spoke to the media with a big smile after sc Heerenveen - Ajax. The forward was significant in Friesland with one goal. "It's always nice to score. I'm just happy, very happy," he reacted after the 2-4 victory in Heerenveen.

The forward looked back at his goal with the subscription broadcaster. After a good move in the penalty area, he put the ball in the near corner. "I knew the opponents would slide at me. I saw it happening, so I chipped the ball over. Then I shot it between the keeper's legs. I can enjoy that kind of goal. It was also a great assist from Dusan Tadic."

The 25-year-old Amsterdam native was buzzing after a joyful performance. "I'm enjoying the game again. I'm finding pleasure in football. That's the most important thing. Everyone in the team has that now."
