Ajax continued their excellent form last Saturday evening. Playing away at FC Emmen, the Ajax team won 5-0. Goals came from Davy Klaassen, Zakaria Labyad, Lassina Traoré (before half time) and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp and Quincy Promes (in the second half).

Devyne Rensch came on eighteen minutes before time, making his debut appearance for the Ajax first team.

Davy Klaassen showed his importance for the squad once again. "We were in control the whole time and scored three times in the first half. After that it was just a case of playing out the match."
