Ajax and Telstar have reached an agreement for the loan of Giovanni Manson Ribeiro. The loan is effective immediately and will run until June 15, 2022. The 19-year-old forward’s contract, who plays under the name Giovanni, runs until June 30, 2024.

Giovanni was born on January 31, 2002 in Bauru, Brazil. He joined Ajax from Santos FC at the beginning of 2020 and has been part of the selection with Jong Ajax ever since. He made his debut in professional football on August 30, 2020 in the match between Jong Ajax - Roda JC: 0-4. He has since played 31 official games for the reserves, scoring twice.
