Ajax won a friendly match behind closed doors with 5-1 against Heracles on Monday. Mohammed Kudus (2), Danilo, Victore Jensen and Kenneth Taylor scored the Ajax goals.
Goalkeepers Remko Pasveer and Jay Gorter are both unavailable to Erik ten Hag for the time being. Both goalkeepers were injured during the warm-up before the match against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League. Pasveer, who did play the match in Lisbon (2-2), will be out for at least eight weeks. Gorter will not be available for at least two weeks.
Ajax did themselves a disservice against Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday afternoon. Erik ten Hag's squad went down 2-1 against the number thirteen of the Eredivisie.
