Ajax played on Tuesday evening in the Johan Cruijff ArenA against Shakhtar Donetsk from Ukraine. Ajax and the Johan Cruyff ArenA donated all proceeds from the match to projects and organizations that provide aid to Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees. In the end, Ajax won the game 3-1 thanks to goals from Dusan Tadic, Steven Berghuis and Mohammed Kudus.
Ajax won their last friendly match of preseason on Tuesday evening, 3-1. Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk were the opposition. It was more than a normal friendly though, as the entire proceeds from the match were given to various projects and agencies that provide aid to Ukrainian refugees and aid projects in Ukraine.
Ajax are back from Austria and were back in training on Monday at the Toekomst. New signing Francisco Conceição could be seen for the first time on the training pitch in Amsterdam.
Francisco Conceição was officially presented on Monday. The forward, who was recently contracted until June 30, 2027, proudly posed with his Ajax shirt.
