Ajax completed their final training session Wednesday ahead of their first cup match in the 2023/2024 season. The Ajax players take on USV Hercules at Galgenwaard Stadium Thursday evening, kick-off at 6:45 pm.

The Ajax squad went through another tough training session at the De Toekomst training ground Wednesday afternoon. Final preparations were being put in place in the run-up to the cup match against USV Hercules. The Amsterdammers started with a thorough warm-up followed by various running exercises and practice drills.

The cup tournament starts Thursday evening for Ajax, with a visit to Utrecht. European commitments meant the Amsterdam team was chosen to play in the first round in the Dutch Cup. Opponents USV Hercules beat second division team Scheveningen on penalties in the opening round.
