The Ajax players completed their last training session on Saturday in the run-up to the final part of the competition. As national champion, Ajax will visit Vitesse, the current number six in the Eredivisie, on Sunday afternoon. Kick off for the match in Arnhem is at 2:30 PM.

There were plenty of smiling faces on the training field at the Sports centre de Toekomst Three days after Ajax seized the 36th national title in club history thanks to a 5-0 victory over sc Heerenveen, the atmosphere was great.

Erik ten Hag led the training as usual.  On Sunday, in Arnhem, he will be on the sidelines for the last time as trainer of the Amsterdam team. With 82 points from 33 games and 96 goals, the retiring coach will undoubtedly want to end the season with a bang.

Alfred Schreuder new head coach Ajax

Ajax, Club Brugge and Alfred Schreuder have reached an agreement about a transfer to Ajax. Schreuder will be signing a two year contract that starts after this season and will end June 30, 2024. The agreement contains an option for a third season.
