For the top-of-the-table clash between Ajax and AZ, fans were finally in attendance at the Cruijff ArenA once more. The presence of about 7,500 supporters created a wonderful, almost old-fashioned football atmosphere. Ajax 2-0 victory and the fact that they virtually sealed the title, only resulted in more joy.

Klaassen excels in top of the table clash, Ajax nearly champions

Ajax have all but ensured themselves the Eredivisie title after a 2-0 victory against AZ. In a wonderful and intense game in the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Davy Klaassen was responsible for all the goals in a terrific display. The gap to second-in-the-table PSV is now twelve points with four games to go in the Eredivisie, with Ajax ahead by more than thirty goals on goal difference.
