Ajax completed final training on Saturday ahead of the home game against sc Heerenveen. At De Toekomst training centre, John van 't Schip's Ajax squad worked on the finishing touches to ensure a second home win of the week on Sunday.

Another intensive training session was on the programme for the Ajax line-up on Saturday afternoon. The Amsterdammers started with a thorough warm-up followed by various running drills and practice games. In the concluding finishing drill, the focus was sharpened for the Ajax players.

The meeting with the Frisians is the second home match of the week for Ajax. Van 't Schip's team played a rearranged fixture with FC Volendam in the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Thursday. The match against the fellow North Holland team ended in a 2-0 victory with goals from Steven Bergwijn and Chuba Akpom.

Ajax – sc Heerenveen begins on Sunday at 4:45 pm.
