Antony was chosen as the King of the Match for Ajax - Feyenoord, partly thanks to his winning goal in the final minutes of the game. Our cameraman followed the Brazilian throughout the match and that resulted in these fantastic images.
Ajax won the Klassieker for the sixth time in a row on Sunday. In an exciting match which had it all, the final score was 3-2. Antony was crowned the match-winner with his goal in the 86th minute.
Lisandro Martínez left the pitch just before full time in yesterday's Klassieker. A hospital examination confirmed the post-match diagnosis of a muscle injury. As a result, Martínez did not travel to Argentina and he will therefore not join his national team in the coming international break.
On Sunday afternoon, Ajax won the Klassieker in spectacular fashion. The Amsterdam side fell behind after a disappointing opening to the game. Sébastien Haller scored the equalizer halfway through the first half, but shortly afterwards Feyenoord took the lead again. Deep in the second half, Ajax equalized after a beautiful free kick from Dusan Tadic, after which Antony completed the comeback in the dying embers: 3-2.
