Ajax, Kik Pierie and Excelsior Rotterdam have reached an agreement on the loan of this player to the Rotterdam club. The loan starts with immediate effect and will run for half a season, until 30 June, 2023. The 22-year-old player's contract with Ajax is due to run until 30 June, 2024.
Pierie was born on 20 July, 2000 in Boston, USA. The defender transferred from sc Heerenveen in the summer of 2019. Over the last two seasons, Pierie was on loan to FC Twente, where he played 27 official matches in the first team.
At Ajax, Pierie made 22 appearances for Jong Ajax in the 2019/2020 season, while this season, he played 15 times for Ajax U23 playing in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
