Mannsverk was born on May 8, 2002, a few months after the introduction of the euro, in the Norwegian Øvre Årdal. In a small town in the province of Vestland with around 3,500 inhabitants, the young Sivert took his first steps into football. He starts his football adventure at the local football club IL Jotun. It does not take long before Mannsverk moves to Årdalstangen IL, where he gets scouted by Sogndal IL, a team in the second league of Norway.
First steps
In Sogndal, the midfielder experiences a successful period where he manages to develop himself well. In 2018/2019, Mannsverk was rewarded for his hard work and made his debut for Sogndal IL. The Ajax newbie stayed with his first love until the summer of 2021 despite interest from multiple top European clubs. After 54 official matches, in which Mannsverk made six goals and six assists, the Norwegian holding midfielder transferred to Molde FK.
Mannsverk joined the team in the middle of the Norwegian Spring/Fall competition. During his first half-season at the highest level in Norway, Mannsverk played 27 matches, scoring two goals, and making one assist. He played these matches as a central, defensive, or attacking midfielder.
Cup hero
The regular starter of Molde FK also proved to be important in the seasons that followed. Mannsverk experiences his highlight on May 1, 2022. On this date, the holding midfielder scored the winning, and only, goal in the Norwegian Cup final. After 76 minutes, Mannsverk scored in the match against FK Bodø/Glimt. After two seasons, the Norwegian has played 87 official matches, scoring eight goals and making two assists.
