The day before the game against Vitesse, Ajax held the very last training session of the season. We captured how the players prepared for the last game of a great season that finished with a domestic double.
After an exceptional football year without supporters in the stadium, Ajax has decided to melt down its champion trophy and create over 42,000 small champion stars. From Wednesday onwards, each season ticket holder will receive their share of the champion trophy, or, as Ajax calls it: ‘a piece of Ajax’. This will allow the club to physically share the championship and the 35th trophy with fans.
Ajax has secured the double with two games to go in the Eredivisie. So, what better time to look back on this past season with captain, Dusan Tadic: "We have shown that there is great solidarity within the whole club."
