Mika Godts and Diyae Jermoumi are unavailable for an extended period. Godts ended the Ajax U23 away match against FC Den Bosch with an injury and will be on the sidelines in the coming months. Jermoumi will be out until spring due to a knee injury.
Diyae Jermoumi is currently the right-back for Ajax U23. The 18-year-old wing-back is not only a talented football player, but he also had a knack for judo at a young age. We take a trip with the Leiden-born defender back to his old judo school. "I did judo for fun, not with the intention of achieving something in the future. That's why I ultimately chose football. However, practicing judo at a young age has done me a lot of good."
