Anass came over from AZ to Ajax as a sixteen-year-old youth international. The Amsterdam native played for AFC in his hometown until the age of 13. Despite enduring two serious injuries at a young age, he remains positive and never gives up. Last season, he was loaned out to FC Twente but has now returned.

Highlights USV Hercules - Ajax
The Amsterdam-based team suffered a historic loss against amateur team USV Hercules. The final score was 3-2 for the third-division team. Ajax have never before lost against an amateur team in the Dutch Cup and heads into the winter break with a negative feeling.
Valkanis: 'This never should have happened'
Ajax lost on Thursday evening 3-2 to USV Hercules. Assistant trainer Michael Valkanis was naturally disenchanted after the match. "This is very disappointing. There's a lot of work to be done, and we need to fix things with the staff. We're going to work on it."
